Yaya's Pasta

Born in a nightclub cloakroom in 2021, Yaya’s started as a late-night pop-up and became an underground sensation for its bold, boundary-pushing pastas infused with Chinese flavors. By 2022, we opened our first permanent space—a 40-seat neighborhood pasta bar next to the historic Jing An Temple. Here, fresh pasta is rolled daily in an open kitchen, negronis flow without pause, and the line between dinner and party often blurs, with local DJs often spinning into the night. A cult favorite, Yaya’s was crowned 2023 Restaurant of the Year by That’s Shanghai and is featured in the Louis Vuitton Shanghai Guide 2024.
